I'm a newbie here:

I hit the city nightclub the other night and approached a girl, I asked what her name was and she wasn't showing too much interest so I started talking to her friend instead. That ended up going well. We were talking for a solid 10 minutes and I eventually put my arm around her. She was showing clear interest in me and starting caressing my leg and what not and was giving me singals to kiss her and take things up a notch.

I was quite nervous so I ended up just chatting away so she ended up making the first move and next thing you know we were making out. She got me by surprise but I didn't feel a lot of excitement in the moment and pulled back from the kiss after 10 seconds or so. She must've caught the vibe and said she was gonna go see her friends and walked off. I liked her and feel a bit regretful that I didn't move on that level.

I'm making progress with my game but escalating and closing seem to be my weak points at the moment. Does anyone have any advice on overcoming this fear and techniques in how to successfully escalate and close the deal?
