I'm an overall good man (not nice guy), just turned 30, and with the following accolades for context:

  • 5'10" (not tall not short). Strong and muscly (max: bench 140kg, deadlift 160kg)
  • Good looking according to most and good game when it comes to ONS or a few night stands, but not relationships - here I suck
  • Solid prestigious job at $175K/year where I travel business class and stay at 5 star hotels and fancy dinners advising execs in top companies on strategy
  • I have a 1-bedroom at the beach and surf religiously
  • Good strong global social circle, always been life of party and popular
  • I've got a top MBA and am a member of MENSA, meaning I'm smart... this is probably a turn off for most women so I keep it quiet haha

Went on a date the other day with an HB8-8.5 ... She seemed lukewarm but I charmed her and escalated and within an hour we were making out, but then toward end of night got lukewarm again, probably because I was talking too much and trying to impress. Haven't gotten a second date. Haven't suggested one yet but unlikely I'll get one.

Anyway, I kept feeling like I was qualifying myself to her, and in general I always feel like they're the prize. Objectively, I'm doing pretty well as a man and for what a man should strive for, but my mentality is weak as f**k.

How can you actually feel like you are the prize? and do any of you actually feel this? I lack the abundance mentality - but just as many of you say: "you can have abundance mentality even though you may not have several plates", I feel that I have options but I don't feel abundance. For example, this girl is one I'd like to bring to an office function to show off. It is as if the only way to feel like a prize is to be treated as a prize ...

Sidenote: On the bright side, for anyone who knows my post history, I've moved on from my shitty LTR (was dumped around 3-4 weeks ago) and feel 100% better and finally positive again and excited about life.
