This girl started working with us a little over a month ago and I feel like she's been flirting with me, but I'm not too sure.

Yes, I'm well aware of the whole "don't dip your pen in company ink". I don't plan on working here for too long anyways, YOLO.

So far I have noticed these behaviours that can be interpreted as flirting:

  • Touched my forearm when I was telling her something about work.
  • Frequently calls me by a cute nickname (an abbreviation of my name).
  • Prolonged eye contact whenever we talk.
  • Hugged me (from behind) while I was sitting on my chair to give me condolences for the passing of a relative. I turned to face her and she held me for a little longer than usual. This could very well be just her expressing empathy, though,
  • Comes up to my desk to ask for stuff she could very well message me.
  • Sends me smiley faces with hearts to thank me when we're talking over text (which I reciprocate).
  • Playfully hit me over the head with a balloon I got along with a birthday gift the company gave me.
  • Blew me a kiss as goodbye at the end of our shift yesterday.
  • I have complimented her scent (she smells really good) and the flirty behaviours didn't stop.

There's a little bit of an age gap between us (I'm 24, she's 29). I'm almost certain she's single, I heard she has just moved and is living by herself and there's no pictures with a boyfriend on her socials.

I usually don't wait for 100% certainty to make a move, but since she's a coworker I'd rather be almost certain before making our interactions awkward by misinterpreting stuff.

How can I gauge her interest without being too direct?
