You probably have the same problem I had. I had principles I believed in but I never held true to them. When a girl was interested in me I would drop everything and would be quick to forgive her.

I recently had a girl hurt me in a way that almost broke our ‘situationship’, but I decided to keep it going. I did however put her through a large trial period to make sure that she fully understood that what she did was wrong and that I would not tolerate that behavior again. Had I just told her that I forgave her and not to do it again (basically bitched out), I don’t think she would’ve respected me as much.

Women need to respect you, man. And you get that by saying one thing and sticking to it. Even if they don’t agree with you. Make it clear that you have your rules and they can respect them or royally fuck off. And usually they’ll stay.

If that’s not your problem, I’d try flirting with more escalation. Get the date going. Do something cheap like coffee and a walk in the park (I’m dead serious). If they call you out on it just tell them you don’t blow money on women till you know what they’re about (if they leave, screw it). I tell all the girls I take out that I won’t use them for sex if they don’t use me for money. Usually they’re more than happy to split the bill at that point because a lot of pretty girls end up with guys that will use them for sex and then leave so being that straightforward is something girls appreciate.

You need to escalate with kino. Most girls I pick up are at bars and I’ll just drunkenly put my arm around their shoulders and see if they escalate. If they don’t, FULL STOP. But you’re 17. So do the glitzy stuff like excessively over the top high 5s (as in, you’re making fun of people that give high 5s and then asking for high 5s over dumb shit to be funny). Shake hands, give hugs, arm on shoulder (this one is good if you say something serious in a joking way - so they can’t tell if you’re serious - “oh I bring all the pretty girls to this spot”). Either way, getting into kino is better if you do ‘reverse’ kino, which is basically making fun of kino while doing kino and then watching their reaction (cuz if it fails, it’s satirical and if it succeeds you know if you can get into hotter and heavier stuff).

Last bit of advice I’ve got (because maybe your text game sucks) is to go left. Basically every question you get asked, you think of the answer, and then you think of a wrong answer (I.e; something kinda ridiculous), and you give them the wrong answer. You wanna be a troll. And you want to see how long you can go talking about absolutely nothing (because it’ll make you better at filling in conversation when it goes stale). The longer you two talk and she laughs without her learning anything about you, the better (obviously get serious when you need to, but this is good practice).

Once I learned this shit I stopped struggling. Oh and stay off dating apps. They’re a cesspool.

You’re probably giving too much attention in a short period of time, basic psychology that we value things more if they are not easy to get. Give attention when you’re in the relationship. But initially, go for the date as soon as you can, show genuine interest, but take your time to respond so it doesn’t become too boring for them
