Admittedly I am a virgin, but of course I’m not gonna say it as it definitely makes people look down on you to some extent, I.e. I get asked “do you have a girlfriend” I typically respond with “Not right now”.

Back to the main topic - I was talking with one girl who is a little older than me (I’m 21, she’s 23 soon to turn 24), to be quite frank, I don’t care what relationship I’d get into; hook up, FWB or if she’s a genuinely positive addition to my life, a girlfriend, but I wanted to kinda go into a deeper topic with her and I said that I don’t particularly enjoy the modern day dating/hooking up because it just feels like it’s nothing meaningful and easily replaceable, meaning people don’t respect each other as much. This was not a lie, but I did cater/word myself this way on purpose, to an extent at least, given that she’s a little older so she probably is less about hooking up and more about something slightly more meaningful.

Is doing so a bad move?
