As a rule you shouldn't tell a girl your feelings until you're dating or well-known dating. Instead show her your interest through actions. I guess if you frequent there you can start getting to know her, get to know her name and work up from there. Even if "breaking the ice" is just small-talk it's better than nothing

A). Be the PG MOVIE rating guy going after the cute girl.

But in all seriousness, I'd just chat with her small talk and actually listen. Let her do the talking. Ask questions about HER! Take mental notes of her body language and tone/speed/pitch of her voice. Keep in mind, small talk is just any phrase or questions that can get her talking. 30 secs unless it's super not busy, she's working too, keep that in mind.

See if you can find common interests. If yes, that's good! If you frequent, what will happen is that she will be looking forward to your interactions when she's on her shift.

It takes time to hone your social skills.

Tell her she looks nice instead of telling her she is nice. The next time she looks nice say Hey… you look nice. Then she will know you find her attractive three tone of the conversation will change.

Here's how I did that in one of the coffee places I frequently visited. At some point she was having a coffee break at the table next to me. I started a conversation with her. Next time we met I asked her if when she was available for another coffee break. She joined me for a cup of coffee. On thing led to the next and at some point we were being friends with benefits. She didn't want any commitment. I didn't want any either. We both live in different cities. Occassionally chat and the great vibe is still there.
