Seems like she wants affection, support and a decent human being to reply on, if you know you can't give that to her then... You don't seem to genuinely care for her though you seem jealous of the boyf? I'd say make a very ballsy, make-it-or-totally-fucking-break-it move and ask her if she wants to fuck or however you wanna move and see what she says. I think letting a pattern develop like that can mess with progress because you can become predictable and boring. You gotta spice it up and break the pattern. Assuming the girl genuinely is interested, there’s a few ways to do this.

One is just dip out for more than 2 weeks. Don’t talk to her at all and let her come back to you. And when she comes back don’t give her what she wants. Idk what this is but you do, it’s your pattern. Most girls just want attention and validation that they’re desired. It sounds like she knows you’re interested and you just fill that void for her when her relationship gets boring. Honestly if this is the case, escalating can be challenging. But it sounds like she is pretty interested based on stuff like saying she’d move in with you, even if it’s only a joke. Once you’ve deprived her of attention, you can surprise her by asking to hang when she’s at her lowest point. The goal is to set a tone of spontaneity and hopefully she goes with it, while you use it to escalate.

Another option is get her to open up to you emotionally even more than she already has. She’s told you she’s not super into her dude, which means she’s already confided in you. If you can push down that road a little further, who knows what will happen. I feel like the finisher here is to get her drunk after you have gotten her to really open up to you. Then you just let emotions take over. Key is to make it seem like you feel as emotionally connected to her as she does to you (due to trusting you with her relationship situation).

Another option is to get involved with another girl to make her jealous. Then you deprive her of your attention like in the first case. Make her miss you and then hangout and see what happens.

I personally think alcohol/weed is the best catalyst for when you actually hangout in all these scenarios.

why did things go south? was there something in particular that happened? if it was after you tried to escalate things it could be that she is having hangups about actually having action happen and was just kinda using you for fantasy/escape - another thought is that dude saw your texts or confronted her about it so now she feels guilty - I would call one night, not text
