My ex-LTR of two years dumped me a month ago, but we work together. Since then she has written me a birthday text welcoming me to my 30s to which I just replied "Thanks", and I've avoided her at all cost.
We are consultants so we only work in the same office on Fridays, but normally she sits on the other side of the office and we have said hi once, initiated by her whilst walking past each other and I replied with "hey" and kept walking.
Today I came in and she's sitting on my side of the office. She's sitting there texting and smiling (she's a 5/10 at best and 34, currently seems to be limping around because of an ankle injury she's had for months), but might still be a new guy in her life, who knows, and just seeing her is spiking my emotions to the max.
I'm not over her and can't believe she could leave me (ego talking perhaps, I'm a 7-8/10, good body, good looks, good hobbies). I have guaranteed sex tomorrow with an 8/10 (plate, will be 3rd time sleeping with her) and a Tinder date on Sunday. Had a successful K-close Tinder date last Monday too, but I still am getting all bothered and emotional about the ex-LTR.
Please can you guys help me with some words to give me some strength, as my instincts are telling me "go and fix the relationship" like I always did before the 60+ times she "broke up" or threatened to do so.
Before you say don't shit where you eat, I agree - but we both got an offer to this company in this country after our MBAs, so it was this or different country/job which would not have been as good career or life-wise.
Thanks all ...
