It’s bizarre because when I first started game, I thought going somewhere alone is a recipe for social awkwardness. After I had this one recent trip however to the west coast (I’m from the Midwest), I realized a few things about this. First, I was stuck in a group for this one concert because I couldn’t leave without my ride back. Leaving the only person I knew when I’m 1,500 miles away from home was just a bad idea in the long run. This meant I couldn’t wander off and approach others too far away. Secondly, being in a semi-large group as even a slightly attractive guy will mean no girl will approach you in that setting. Especially if that group has hot women in it. Approaching someone in a group is intimidating for almost everyone. These two big items were major hinderances that night. In this environment, I was fairly invisible even though my rare approaches that night there were friendly af. FYI, the artist I saw here was not someone I thoroughly enjoy listening to.

On the other hand, in about 4 weeks I’m going on a solo road trip to see my favorite artist ever. I’ve seen the artist before alone twice and every time I’ve had loads of attention from women. I’m super high energy, I’ll look at other people in the eye and sing the track lyrics, as well as dance my ass off with others. I’ve been building my social momentum the last few months at home so I know I’ll be talking to almost everyone at the venue there. My excitement for the event vibrates for some reason. Combining that with my slightly above average looks, I’m set for that night mentally even though I still have 0 experience with women.

TLDR: Go solo to something you absolutely love rather than something, “meh,” with a group.
