99% is a dreadful percentage!

I only stop single girls and tend to avoid the more challenging looking ones (like on the phone or jogging). I find that overall more than half are willing to talk, the percentage is much higher if I have a situational opener. I consider myself a daygame beginner.

Firstly approaching women isn’t a game. That immediately proves that the person doing that doesn’t respect women.

A woman is a human being just like you. Treat her like a decent human being. Women have an inbuilt early warning system that detects this kind of behavior in men.

Never compliment a woman you approach. This automatically triggers the above reaction. Instead wherever you are pay attention to your surroundings. Spend some time looking around and watching. Find something interesting or unusual that you’ve seen and use that as an opening.

Put yourself in the shoes of a woman who’s outside going about her daily routines minding her own business. If she’s an attractive woman she’s no doubt been hit on hundreds of times by men and her early warning system will automatically kick in and the defences go up. She just wants to feel safe and comfortable in a public space. She’s seen and probably experienced men’s misogynistic behavior numerous times. The more attractive the woman the more she’s going to be on the defensive.

Smile and say hello. If she responds then comment on something you’ve spotted in the vicinity but she hasn’t. Wish her a nice day and leave it. You’ll know if she’s receptive or not. Just be a gentleman and talk to her like she’s just another person you meet in the street/supermarket/petrol station wherever.

Try talking to women who are stationary rather than girls who are on the move. Play a numbers game with it and just fish for the ones who will stay and talk. Work on your body language, posture and movement speed. Guys who appear nervous and make fast movements send signals of fear and insecurity which women pick up on, so you need to consciously focus on being calm cool and collected at all times. If you seem CCC, the women you talk to will feel more at ease talking to you.

Approaching a moving target will always have less success rate than approaching a sitting target. And why are they saying "thank you"? Are you complimenting them on your opener, that is just giving value to a person who hasn't earned it yet. Try opening with a situational/indirect opener and while opening, introduce a false time constraint. Make sure you are smilling, when delivering your opener.

Otherwise you will have more success rate opening a seated set/target, people in the day are usually in a rush (imagine yourself in a rush and someone is trying to sell you something, you won't be interested either), automatically if you are opening with a complimemnt they already know what you want and you give them the power to decide if they want you, usually the decision is based on your looks and how you are dressed.

P.s I also suggest that if you have to approach a moving target, you walk with them, because expecting them to stop is asking them to invest in someone who has not demonstrated to them that he has value.
