Cocky is putting your accomplishments, achievements and material things first. Confidence is putting yourself first and letting your accomplishments, achievements and material things speak for you.

cocky is when you think/know you are better than everyone else.

confidence is when you think/know you know you are good regardless of the people around you. IE someone else may be better/worse than you but doesnt affect you.

for example you have 1 million dollars, but someone else has 2 million or 1 dollar, doesnt change the fact you have 1 million.
