Depends at what stage you’re in. Typically flakiness implies lack of sufficient interest and you never chase girls who are flaky. Just match their energy, and don’t give them the upper hand. I’ve dated enough girls who match my energy to not waste time on girls who don’t. Any sign of flakiness then I just won’t respond:follow up/double text. Why should I?. Again don’t appear desperate chasing these girls, it doesn’t work. I fall back, and sometimes they come back with the “hey you’ve been quiet” and I’ll directly tell them they weren’t really reciprocating so I fell back. Sometimes they apologise and pick up...cool. Sometimes they don’t come back. Cool.

As a woman and periodic "ghoster" I agree with this. Don't ask her out again right away. Make plans with your friends and send her a picture afterwards saying had a blast today wish you could have been here to (insert activity) with me!! That way she see you as fun and exciting and feels like she missed out on something by not being with you. We don't like guys that are always available. They seem like they have nothing going on.
I think for a guy it's better to match energy plus one. We like to know you're interested but not needy, clingy, desperate or bored... just a tiny more energy some days/moments and then less on other days.
Also, keep the texting to a minimum but be funny!! We LOVE funny. If you're not clever or witty use memes or puns or just tell her you heard a joke ...and when she's feeling your humor or jokes, stop responding for the day!! then send her something the following day. If she's flakey after that send her a meme about flaky girls.... she will over think it but tell her it's not about her 👀
Push-pull works but always do it in a caring way no matter what the internet says...
Live and let live

OP, This response and the replies to it sum it up nicely. I can say from experience that this is the way.

Mhmm I see. Good points. Recently went out with a girl, had a good time and made out. Been trying to set up a second date but till try to kept it cool. So was pretty boggled by why the sudden flakiness. Will definitely take ur last few points in mind from now onwards thanks.

Just ghost her. She knows she’s being flaky. Doesn’t need you to call her out.

Just don't. By calling out you appeal to her consciousness or maybe shaming her out publicly, but it won't make her like you.

Don't even bring that shit up. It'll make you seem needy.

It depends where you're at with this girl.
If you haven't met up with this girl at all, and you're in the initial phases of just texting back and forth where she goes lights out every time you suggest to meet up, don't even bother.
If you have met up with this girl, whether on a date or two, hooked up or not, etc., and she's then half-assing her texts, not getting back to you as much, responds the next day, and so forth, you should know where you stand with each other.
I'll give you an example where this happened to me recently. I went out and hooked up with a girl and she became unreceptive afterwards. We met up afterwards but even that felt like I was pulling a couple hairs. Half of her texts were "sorry for the late response, but...", and after the third time that happened, I straight up told her that although I'm not the biggest stickler when it comes to texting, at the same time her consistently being unresponsive gives me the impression that she's not interested, and makes me not interested as well. That's the truth, and that's what it is. Turns out she wasn't into me, and that's all that needed to be said so we can both move on.
Now would some people here argue that's needy or reactionary? I wholeheartedly disagree. Because with women who are unreceptive and flakey, I already made up my mind that I'm prepared to walk away. I don't send polarizing texts like that purely to get a reaction out of women. I send it because I'm presenting them an opportunity to clear things up in the unlikely event I'm misunderstanding her level of interest (such as being unresponsive due to death in the family). And most of the time, it is what it is. Flakey and unreceptive women are just not interested, so part of dating is learning how to recognize them so you can screen them out and pursue women who actually are interested. Believe me, when a girl really likes you, she'll make shit happen.

thank you for the extensive reply. can I ask for text examples of how you respond to her behaviour?

It was exactly what I wrote. You text how you feel.
