when i once saw a picture of a female friend of mine with a guy, who she had her arms around his neck, taking a selfie, i said - cool, your boyfriend? she went the extra mile to make sure i understand that its not, that he is her brother etc. it was not a simple "no, thats my bro"...

Well, that depends to whom. Dance with her to see her vibe. Is she extra happy to see you and bothers talking to you? do you get extra attention? more eye playing? do you stand out in the crowd coz you look good? Maybe - there is no 100%. The way it's done (Have a friend who coupled up with a girl from a social dancing event, who are together 3 years now) is you tell her you like her scarf or her energy and ask her out for a drink.

So this is funny. I'm in a similar position although a bit different - I started going to learn how to dance (no, really, I decided I wanna learn how to fucking dance - also, looking for my balls - still nowhere near to be found but oh well) and had one approach me to teach me so I dont have a one on one with a dude my first time. Fine I say, probably some other dude's GF - she dances really crazy with him. She skips a lesson, and in the meantime I already advanced (because I put the fucking effort to learn what I can on my own\friends). This week I come and she comes up to me and tells me hi and are you still needing help coz you're a noob. No I say, I've actually advanced. Cool.

We all split into groups - and again, level 2 lacks a girl - and its me again who dances with the muscular male teacher. Again this girl comes up to us to offer 'help', but this time the teacher kindly tells her off (she's really REALLY loud and energetic, and he told me after the first lesson he doesn't like that). Cock blocked by the teacher? one time id say she's kind, 2 times? probably should talk to her some more - which I will next time I see her.
