Little story: She asked me to help with her school project (I'm literally of no help there, I'll just be there to be with her). So I texted her later if I got the date and time right, she confirmed and called me a sweetheart (yeah I've read that this can be a sign of being put in the friendzone, but I'm 100% sure it wasn't in this case). 2 days later I run into her at school, I say "Hey". She turns over, puts her arms up in the sky, shouts my name and rushes towards me. So I put my arms up too and grab her hands and held them tight. Then we just stood there holding hands for 2 minutes... and I don't even remember what we were talking about, all I know is that it felt like we were already in a relationship. She blushed, said goodbye and went home. I could tell she was excited to see me. She always acts flirty around me, is needlessly touchy and sometimes overly interested in what I'm doing.

I'm taking my time because I don't want to rush things and come over as needy, she's very inactive when it comes to social media and basically minds her own bussiness all the time, and thus doesn't even read her texts often which is why I haven't set a date yet. Also the reason why I'm not worried about her meeting other guys.

So the plan is just to make my moves on that project thing of hers. I've never had this much sexual tension with a girl before, ever. Nothing to worry about.

I was just explaining how she acted around me last time I saw her... I'm sorry but you're saying I'm obsessing over minor situations instead of focusing on the big picture, based on a little summary I typed out because I thought that would make the kind of bond between us a bit more clear?

Because I don't see her often? How can I make moves if I see her once every 2 weeks, and when I see her I can only talk to her for like a few minutes because our school schedules don't match up? Why would I push her to meet up with me when she made it clear to me she's got too much on her mind atm?

With all due respect, I have this whole thing planned out already and I know exactly what I'm gonna do, and I'm confident, more than I have ever been in my life, that it's gonna work this time. I don't need people telling me that I need to make a move, no shit, I'm gonna make my moves. I'm just gonna have to be patient, that's all. Again, no offense, but I think I'm in the better position to decide how I should proceed.

I didn't ask for advice, I was just curious if it was common for women to take care of their IG pages more if they have a crush. Wouldn't change anything about my plans if it turned out to be true, wouldn't change anything about my plans if it turned out to be false.

I'm as stubborn as it gets. I've got clear hints and signs that she's into me (there's a lot more than what I commented on here), for once in my life I work up the courage to actually do something with it. Please don't come in here and tell me I'm not doing it the right way, because that isn't what I asked for and you're literally just planting seeds of doubt. Again, no offense.

Sorry for the late reply. You got the signals. If I were you, continue working with her on her project, I suggest you offer to work on it either at an on campus quiet area, like a food court, or better yet a local coffee or tea shop. Continue flirting as you see fit, then as things get going ask her if you would like to grab drinks, coffee, tea, whatever makes sense for you just one on one to get to know her better. You have strong signals my guy. Your good to just announce that “you’d like to get to know each other and see where it goes” this is a low key way of asking her out. If your flirting like you told us, she will know it’s a date. If there is any confusion, you can say it’s a date. But saying the phrase “I’d like to get to know you better and see where it goes” should give her the impression you like her and are willing to take it slow.
