Well i used to be a lot more idealistic once, so i guess i went through something comparable. Either go back to being idealistic and get frustrated every time you run into an invisible wall or you learn to see these barriers but will realize that you are stuck in a prison and adapt to this reality.

I feel you player. Don’t give up and don’t sell yourself short. You know what you want, keep aiming for that. That love and that connection you want are out there. Project yourself as what you want in a girl and in a relationship and ideally (not always, there is room for error) you will attract that. I just watched a video on YouTube by Todd V Dating about the power struggle between men and women. This might be something you may want to look into
