So over the past couple of years I have been self-improving, with fitness and different perspectives, and I just came across a little flame in my summer class. I am going to school away in a few weeks and so is she, we have very similar likes and I honestly thought we would be perfect for each other. I couldn't tell for sure if she thought I was cute and into me so I invited her over to my house on the weekend. When she came I did not send off any flirty vibes because I was nervous. Only got a hug when she left and I thought I had done goofed but I would try again when we hung out next. I asked her to hang out a few days later and she said I don't want to lead you on but I can't give you what you want. She went on to say that I'm kind, funny, and attractive but she didn't see us going anywhere. So now I am feeling down and coming to you guys.

My rationale for this is you got one chance and you blew it, but you have plenty of chances to find happiness again. I also really want someone to be crazy about me. Why should I think about her so much when she doesn't even want to be with me? Besides time, anyone have any remedies to help dissolve the memory of one girl? It just stings and I just want to know when the pain will subside. Just for reference I'm 21M.
