That's a fine way to be. Your focusing on yourself and your goals. Your not putting off a needy or desperate vibe. Other side if the coin, is you could be coming off as uninterested, or flakey.

Just keep doing you and you will eventually make dating a priority.

Not true. Don´t expect anyone but you (and your mom) to make you happy. Having makes life not good, only (even) better. If you don´t want a gf, you don´t need one.

It´s good to have passions, goals and dreams. Pursue them. For now, try abstaining from porn and masturbating (e.g Mark Manson recommends getting off once every two weeks, it´s not all about NoFap) and see if there´s more motivation. I get more motivated.
