If there’s no expectation of commitment, then you don’t have a relationship. You have a plate/FWB.

I don’t quite understand what you mean by enjoy being in a relationship but want to fuck other girls? What in particular do you get from this girl that you wouldn’t get from a different plate/FBW?

After stumbling over black dragons blog and his alpha 1.0/alpha 2.0 categorizations, I tried this whole open relationship thing for myself. You know, because I am so hardcore IDGAF and shit. Turns out, my biology and my instincts aren't and I couldn't do it. So hear me out.

The point of an open relationship is that the two of you are emotionally exclusive but not sexually exclusive. So the two of you get that boyfriend/girlfriend experience, i.e. spending time together besides fucking, movies, activities with friends, holding hands in public, etc. while both of you fuck around. (I hope you are a 9 and can fuck another girl every day or this deal is to your disadvantage.)

So there you are and you spend your time and your resources (emotionally or financially or both) on this girl and you care for her and then she decides because that's your agreement, to get some NSA dick on the side. This guy (or these) has nothing to do, aside having your girl come over, fuck her good (maybe better than you or maybe probably better than you because why else woul she need another dick) and then she is off to you for cuddling. If that doesn't send chills down your spine then I cannot help you.

So tell me, as you have done this for 2.5 years, how does that make you feel?

Hey convince me I'm wrong, but what's the point? You fuck around while she fucks around? So be single. No matter what they say, women are not cool with you fucking other women if you are exclusive but apparently they exist in the wild. Most women don't need to fuck other guys for sport if they have good dick on tap aka you. And you can just plate, possibly even have exclusivity on their end if you doing it right, and still fuck other women when you want. No need to put labels on it and as far as I am concerned, the second another pair of genitals makes an appearance - there is no need to commit. You're basically sacrificing your most powerful asset time and security, while she gives you sex which she is already giving to other guys for next to nothing what you've put in. I don't see the upside.

The general consensus of TRP is to do what you want to do. Do you want a LTR, maybe with a couple side pieces? Do you want to be single and just spin plates? You don't have to ask for permission.

Open relationships is an euphemism for friends with benefits. It is neither good nor bad. It becomes sketchy when people live together, have assets together and still fuck around like this.

Personally, I couldn't do this. It's against my biology--I want to be the only one getting inside my girl. Simultaneously, I want to get inside other girls because I'm a man. I've told my LTR this, and she's fine with it--she does give me shit sometimes for it, though. She's exclusive to me.

We have a unique situation though. She was a chubby HB5 with a nice face when we met and I plated her, and I got her in the gym and trained her, got her a nice ass, and got her pretty face to shine through, which raised her to about a HB8. She appreciates that I saw potential in her from the beginning and took her under my wing, so she lets me have what I want.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think if a girl cares about you she won't want other men--not every girl can let you have other girls while she stays exclusive to you, though, even if she does care about you.

I've done the open relationship thing for a few years. Its always good until hypergamy or new relationship energy kicks in.

Just know that eventually you'll be the second choice. Or she will get really upset if you're dating hotter girls than her. Enjoy the ride. In my opinion its not sustainable for a LTR.
