I'm 17 and this is my first time working. I have my resumes ready. From what I know is that I go to places I wanna apply to, and ask if they're hiring. If they are, I hand them my resume, correct?

Also how do I manage my money between a savings and checking account, or do I open a joint account with my parents? Feedback is much appreciated. If it helps, I live in Canada.
