So I got my own place a couple months ago and have invited my dates out around my area (met mostly on Tinder). There are a good 4-5 decent bars just 5 minutes walk from my apartment.

On the date, we get a drink and have a normal first-date conversation, I quickly move onto them and their interests, who they are, where they are going.. I listen intently and share parts of myself where necessary. Throughout this I kino where possible. I'm not being as formulaic as I sound here, just saying that I am generally "ok" as a date.

After about 30-40 minutes/drink is finished, I invite them back to my place. I've not been on enough dates to determine how well I'm doing, but I have had a few women come back to mine, and slept with two of them. A couple of women have declined.

The logistics are obviously in my favour, and I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to improve the likelihood of someone agreeing to come back to mine (apart from being attractive and not giving off a serial killer vibe)?

For example, is it wise to ask "do you fancy coming back to mine for a drink" or telling "let's go back to mine for a drink.."

Is it a good idea to invite them back sooner or later, or on a high, or?

Should I go for a kiss before inviting them back to mine or allow the sexual tension to build?
