As has been recently posted by other veterans of this forum, there has really been an influx of very specific questions on specific girls lately by people who have no experience. It is eroding the sub.
I believe the factors contributing to this are A) People who are new to reddit don't realize there is a side bar or B) They are too lazy to go through it.
Perhaps if we sticky a short, direct post on foundational material at the top of the page below the Rules and Guidelines sticky, the most important material will be more readily accessible and in FULL VIEW of anyone who visits here. This might reduce the number of specific, basic questions that litter this sub.
I suggest we put Mark Manson's "Models" at the top of that sticky. I've had more success in one month after reading that book than I have in a year of looking at PUA stuff.
Other books might include "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy."
These are solid foundational books that anyone new here should be reading instead of asking about how to band-aid one very specific situation. These books tell you how to fix those problems generally, doing away with the need to post the most elementary of questions.
When you have a knowledgeable community who is then willing to put themselves out there because of that knowledge, you get less questions, more field reports, and thus more of what actually works. And since the goal of this sub is self-improvement, I believe we can all benefit from an improvement in the sub itself.
TL;DR: We need a sticky on foundational material in order to improve this sub.
