I was chilling at an outdoor bar listening to a band with some friends when all the sudden a group of cute girls sits down next to us. All at once 5 or 6 guys descend on the girls trying to get their attention and and flirt with them. I don't budge, I simply glance over to the cutest of the girls and smile at her for a quick second then look away. At this point I've had a lot to drink and I go inside to relieve my small bladder. On the way out I see her. We hold eye contact both our eyes twinkling with sexuality. I glance her up and down and back up to her eyes and do one of those quick little eye brow raises as if to say "I like what I'm seeing". Not a word is spoken between us. I go back out to my friends and we all agree that the band is shitty and that we should go.

The next day I'm sitting in a coffee shop and in walks one of the friends of the girl from last night. She looks at me, smiles and comes up and says "you're the guy from last night! My friend thinks you're cute! Here is her number, you should give her a call". She writes the number on a piece of paper and hands it to me.

The two of us went for a date a few days later and hit t off!

The big takeaway I got from this experience is that girls really can feel out who you are just from looking into your eyes. If a guy is insecure with his sexuality he will look away nervously and avoid confrontation through eye contact. However if you are comfortable with the tension that eye contact creates you can achieve wonders!
