I've been reading Seddit for a few weeks now. I don't regularly practice pickup but I will start posting field reports when I do. This is my first.

Last night I went out in San Francisco with a bunch of friends for someone's birthday, just drinking and having a good time. I had no plans to game and didn't care if I picked up a chick or not. I started ordering my friends and myself a line of shots when I noticed this cute girl standing next to me at the bar. I start chatting her up and offer her a shot. She accepts.

I ask her what her name is and I tell her mine. We talk for a while, flirting with each other more and more. She asks me what I do for a living and I tell her I'm an underwear model (thanks Reddit, that line is gold). She doesn't believe me to which I say I'm offended that she doesn't believe me. I didn't really want to take it any further than that so I tell her what I really do for a living, working at company XYZ and I went to ABC university. She's impressed (I guess that was a DHV, but I was just stating a fact and keep the conversation going).

At this point, I realize I need to up the Kino if I want to get things moving (thanks again reddit, if anything has helped my game it's reading about how important kino is regardless of what stage you're at with a girl). So, I put my hand on her waist and pull her in gently, continuing the conversation. At some point she says she loves Indian culture (huge IOI) and I know it's on. I suggest we get another drink and I offer to buy because I'm genuinely having a good time with this girl, but she convinces me that she'll pay for the round. Excellent, we've got a little investment going on.

After our second round, she asks me what my name is again. To be fair, the bar/lounge was really loud and decently crowded so I don't blame her. But I did remember her name. So, I used that to my advantage. I told her "I told you my name already and I remember your name is NNN" (I made sure to smile and speak with a light tone, I wasn't trying to be a dick) to which she's a little embarrassed. Fine with me, I want to take her on an emotional roller coaster. Next I say "fine, I'll tell you again but what do I get if I tell you?" She says "hmm... a kiss." That's exactly what I was looking for. So I say fine and we proceed to make out for a good amount of time right at the bar. I tell her my name a second time and suggest we go to the dance floor.

Now we're at the dance floor and just grinding all over each other. All the while, we keep making out and things just keep heating up. Warning: the story is about to get as anti-climactic as it possibly can right about now.

Her friends are standing on the side of the dance floor and she notices them. She tells me she has to go back to her friends and I ask her once if she's sure and if she can't just stay and have a good time. She says she'd love to but she has to. So I tell myself fuck it, let her go, I'm not gonna chase. So I let her go back to her friends (but not before one last make out session).

Now I go back to my friends and we're chilling. There's a lot of us and some of them aren't from around SF so I just keep bouncing from one friend to the next to catch up on life. About 30 minutes later, I notice the chick I was with come by and I proceed to give her a hug and rekindle the flame. We make out for a bit longer and I ask her for her number but she says she can't. She tells me she works at a Starbucks on so & so street and that I should stop by. Great--except I don't live in SF and I'm not gonna drive all the way there to go to Starbucks when I don't even drink coffee. I say I will anyway and let her go.

The rest of the night is all about me and my friends getting drunk as skunks so I think I'll cut the story here.

Seddit, I walked into a bar/lounge with zero expectations. Things got heated with a girl but she bailed. What happened here? The only thing I can see is she may want a LTR but she didn't give me her number anyway. Did she have buyer's remorse from making out too much? Any comments/feedback/suggestions are appreciated.
