I've hooked up with a fair amount of women through work. Bear in mind, I'm a server, and anyone who has worked in the restaurant biz knows that it's a fuckfest. Generally what happens is every few months a handful of new girls cycle in, and I'll chat up the ones I find attractive. From there I'll nonchalantly get their number, arrange a date, and treat them as any other woman.

Here's the catch: keeping your mouth shut. Early on in this I messed up in that field. I won't delve into it, but it was drama for a solid few months. Lucky for me, our job has no rules against hooking up with coworkers, so it wasn't anything troublesome. I got used to it, and once things died down I kept all my new hook-ups low-key.

So my advice? Stop overthinking it. If your job has no policies against fucking coworkers and you can keep your mouth shut, go for it. In that particular scenario, the worst that can happen is people find out you slept with someone. If your job is at stake? Well then... Find women elsewhere, unless your job is of little importance.

I have read surveys that more people met their partners at work than any other place. That is because people spend more time at work than any other place. Where else are you supposed to meet her, at a bar or at church? Do you spend all your time at a bar or church?

Are you hitting on employees or customers? (It sounds like customers.) I know people that have done both successful.

Either way, have you checked what company policy is?

There is always a risk of complaint.
