Smoothest lines and compliments

These examples ... (or is it one example?) seem awkward not smooth.

In daygame you might need a simple compliment opener to snap a girl out of her non-dating thoughts and set the scene. Like, you look cute/stylish. But not in any other gaming situation where you're meeting a girl.

In night game it's completely understood why you're there talking to her. In social circle game everything is low key so you can explore possibilities without making life awkward. Breaking out compliments in either situation is uncalibrated. Especially if it's canned material.

EDIT: even banter lines (which I love) are barely necessary for gaming ... more useful for opening or entertaining large groups than for push/pull with a girl one-on-one. I can't imagine using flowery compliments to entertain a group though lol.

The less you think about what to say, the easier it will be. The more you plan, the more anxious you will be. Being comfortable talking about nothing is better than being anxious with a good line, because the line will come out as obviously planned and not smooth at all.
