Go get a badass hobby, like working with disabled kids or skydiving. Get a life people are interested to hear about and the whole getting women thing will be a by-product of your awesome life. This is irrelevant (yet indirectly relevant) to your post but, something is telling me you need to hear this.

It's hard to tell without being there. But in my experience, girls always use that phrase as a test. They want to see how desperate you are to talk to them. They want you to keep asking them and asking them over and over, they like the attention. When I notice girls trying to get my attention in this way, I just ignore them and wait for them to come to me and tell me without me prompting them or starting the conversation.

I think asking her to go grab coffee/lunch/dinner/the casual bite to eat would be good, that's what I would personally do anyways. It all depends on why she is doing this.
