When out on the prowl during a night of drinking should I expect a call/text back from girls?

I think seddit is more or less against the 'wasted as fuck' approach to things (I'm new here, may be wrong), but as a college guy it's easiest and funnest for me so far.

Basically, I've gotten maybe one response out of 5 numbers. When that drunk, its about that moment. When you're texting the next day, they don't remember who you are, and they're sober. So you try to kind of invoke how awesome they felt with you, but it doesn't work. It was intoxication and if you didn't get lucky that night, expect nothing and for God's sake don't bother moping. If you're good at it, there's always next weekend. If you're not good at it, get better next weekend.

At the end of the day, all the phone numbers I get from wasted girls are useless. But I always try anyway, nothing to lose. Just came back from a date and a k-close with one.

In the future, I'd suggest if you want a response the next day, get numbers from girls who aren't so drunk that they are making out with you. Which to me just means at 8pm instead of 12am. Good luck.

Yeah, I think drunk girls are a lot more drunk than they seem, and they just don't remember you. I was dancing, grinding, making out with, groping etc with a girl once, she even wanted to give me a blow job in the toilets. I contacted her the next day and basically got 'um sorry who are you? I don't really remember last night'.

Whether you should do anything beyond making out if the girl has been drinking a bit.. seems a bit predatory to me but hey seddit says go for it..

The number is garbage in a setting like this. When it comes to interactions like this, you want to close the sale that night.

The goal of this subreddit is to get you to a place where that kind of thing will happen, and it will just be a part of your normal operating life. That's just how things go for you, when you really break through.

In any case, if you find yourself developing oneitis, you need to get out more. There's no mental trick to getting rid of this feeling. Only the physical action of meeting new people and doing things that fulfill you will get you out of that headspace.

This has happened quite a few times to me. It's shitty but it is a reality of the bar scene. One girl who was all over me and almost went home with me could not remember who I was and was freaked out when I knew her middle name and what she does for a living. The next week I had run into her again and she was a totally different girl. Another one insisted I take her number then never responded.

It's going to happen, if theres a way of reducing the odds i'd love to know it.

Without a solid interaction (aka: conversation, you actually know something about each others' personalities) you won't get many callbacks.
