The first step to fixing a problem is acknowledging that you have one.

It's agitating you that you weren't invited.

It says a lot that you had a whole day of empty time to sit around and think about your lack of an invite. Dead time is the enemy of progress.

There's probably a good looking girl on your team, whom he is orbiting, and he probably considers you a threat.

Any time I wasn't invited to a party post redpill was because there was a very good chance that the hottest girl there would end up with me, and the hosts usually orchestrated the whole party for a chance at that one girl. Sheep aren't too keen on inviting a lion.

You only find it awkward or “care” because you’re hurt he didn’t invite you. If you had something going on, I doubt you would care. Or should. I used to work with a group of people and they started off by inviting me to parties and I always declined. Then they stopped inviting me and whenever they brought it up at work I just ignored it. I didn’t care to see all my coworkers outside of work and made it clear.

Don't over think it, they're your coworkers. Dont start being petty and start acting all passive aggressive towards them. Treat them the same as you have before, even the host who didn't invite you. Kill them with kindness. Also, find some friends that you can hangout with or have fun by yourself. Its not as bad if youre invited to like 5 other social gatherings.

Also, its not like you can hookup with your fellow coworkers anyway and if you fuck up and act retarded, your coworkers will remember it and depending on your position in the company it can backfire. I wouldn't be bummed unless you somehow depend on your coworkers and have a lower position than them, otherwise if they're the same as you or lower amongst the corporate ranks, then the party is pretty much pointless. Even then being bummed is pointless cus it doesn't do anything. It's like crying when you trip and fall. It doesn't do anything. Just get back up scrape the dust off your shoulder and hit the gym.
