I have recently decided that it's time to live my life to the fullest. I mean this for every facet of my life. In the area of health, I would say I've made huge improvements (Currently exercising rigorously 6 days a week with no thoughts of slowing down).

Socially, I'd describe my progress as baby steps. Asides from all the daunting parts of social interaction, the thing that frustrates me the most is this. My tight-knit group of friends seem to have no desire to "get off the couch" (figuratively and literally). All my attempts to introduce new fun social activities are met with resistance. I'm not saying my friends are a bunch of overweight slobs, they just seem more inclined on replaying some old game or movie than leaving the house and living their lives.

My query is this, Do I:

  • A) Try even harder to be persuasive and accommodating? (I recently picked up Dale Carnegie - How To Win Friends And Influence People and find it fascinating).

  • B) Leave them in the dust so to speak. By this I mean focus entirely on my self, meeting new friends, flying solo etc.

  • C) Some other plan-of-action/combination.

I know this post doesn't fit nicely into the category of "seduction", but I'm really after the opinions/advice of this community that I respect and value highly.
