Asking a woman IF you can say she is beautiful is not a direct opener. Don't ask for permission...and assume attraction.

The problem is that your line is too cliche and it doesn't sound like you are calibrating to the situation.

If what you really want is to take women directly from the street to your bed, you will need to change quite a few things. Read 60 Years of Challenge method, which is pretty much targeted towards having success with those types of lays.

Don't ask for permission. A confident man doesn't need permission to speak.

Don't compliment her beauty. Everyone she meets every day compliments her beauty. She's heard it 1000 times this week, and she'd really like to find someone to whom she's more than just eye candy.

If you're going to compliment anything, be more specific — I really like your shoes/jacket/earrings/tattoo/etc...

But better yet, don't open with compliments. Rather than sucking up to her with flattery, why not display that you're the catch, and that she should really be complimenting you? Eg: "Excuse me... a saw you staring at my ass and I'm wondering why you haven't complimented me on it yet..."
