I just bought a book on Palm Reading it's in this list of my texts, but I'd like to learn some things about cold reading in general. Even amateur cold reading techniques would make for an enormously impressive routine.

Does anyone know anything about cold reading or have any experience in it? Every book I've found on amazon has terrible reviews, so I'm kindof at a loss. Is cold reading something that I could learn about and create a routine without spending months practicing and studying it?

Does anyone have any cold reading routines that they'd like to share? How can I do cold readings?

Edit

Gentlemen, I was watching The Annihilation Method (Neil Strauss.. HIGHLY recommended) after getting stuck in C1 last night on an HB9 because I couldn't separate (practical reasons: she's a bartender at a club I'm very in at).. and he suggests this book for Cold Reading: Tradecraft: The Art And Science Of Cold Reading.

Not sure how long it will be available at this link, but I found a clean PDF of it on rapidshare.

....Also I came across something especially interesting, but I don't want to give it away to just anyone who stumbles in here. PM me, I'll check to see if you've been posting on seddit a bit and aren't just a visitor, and I'll give it to you ;)
