So I was at a friend's bachelorette party, and I hardly knew anyone there besides my friend's brother and his wife. We were at this high class club, and the party was in the garden with an outdoor mini-bar. It was mostly couples and only 2 girls in their 20s hanging around this dude they came with. This dude seemed like a total Alpha male with a good physique, great dressing sense, and good looks. His girls were not my type, so I didn't really care about 'em. My aim was to have fun, but I wasn't in my party mode yet.

I find my friend, greet her and get my first drink for the night. I was pretty quiet for the first few minutes, just hanging around eating snacks until I got my first beer down. I loosened a bit and told myself: "Fuck everything. It's time to be the life of this party! Oorah!". I approached a guy standing by himself and start chatting after the usual introduction. We are 5 minutes in to the conversation, and I notice this guy observing us from the corner of my eye. I turn to him, do the intros and introduce him to the dude I was talking to. Turns out they both went to school together. I ask them about their school life and talk for a while. A few minutes later, I excuse myself to use the restroom.

I come back and see both of them are busy talking to each other. I use this opportunity to get my second round. I see these two dudes just observing the crowd, being total AFCs. I open them up and start chatting. They seem a bit overwhelmed by my confidence, but I manage to keep the conversation flowing by changing topics and then moving the topic to their life. We talk about our lives, and I start teasing them about what they do for a living. One is into hospitality management, while the other is into manufacturing of ventilation systems. I tease them a bit about their jobs, but keep it friendly by laughing and patting their shoulders. I meet a few other people, and the majority of them went to the same high school. I eject before the conversation dies with any of them to get more rounds of beer, and engage with different groups of people.

I am finishing my beer when I notice this hot milf hanging out with my friend. I am not really up for sex or anything tonight, but I make it a point to talk to her just for fun. I see her approach the bar, and I make my move. I open her up by asking what she's having and the conversation flows smoothly there on. I learn she is actually Swedish and is in her forties. DAMN! She looks in her thirties, I swear! We talk about Swedish chocolates, her family, and Swedish girls. Yes, Swedish girls!. I notice my friend looking for her, so I eject before she does to talk to other people. Later, I bump into her again at the bar, and I do a couple of Kamikaze shots with her. I tell her to dance with me before the night ends. I move back to this group of friends whom I had met earlier. I am actually the center of attention with everyone facing me while we share our childhood stories and jokes.

Later in the night, I meet this old friend who studied in the same university as me and my friend. I am talking to him and his wife when the milf puts her hands around my waist and tells me: "I have been waiting to dance with you!". I take her hand and drag my friend and his wife to the dance floor. I am singing and dancing with them and having a lot of fun. We dance until we get tired, and me and the milf go for another round of shots. Its 1 AM and we still haven't had dinner yet. We do last rounds of alcohol and sit down for dinner. I start talking to all the people sitting on my table, and get to know each of them. We finish our food, and the party pretty much ends there.

TL;DR Went from AFC mode to life of the party in 30 minutes. Befriend at least 15 people I didn't know earlier, and danced with a Swedish milf.
