I’ve been pissed off lately at myself for not putting myself out there. Especially for being in college, alone, and 22 years old. So I met with an advisor of sorts this morning to talk about my situation. After that, I went to this office that was recommended by the advisor. Didn’t join any clubs, but wandered around into this computer lab for this organization.

No one was in there except for this one girl. I asked her about what this group is, what they do, etc. She was fairly chatty until the convo died after a few minutes. I then took an interest more in what her major was and what she was doing at the school. Again, she went super into detail with her answers and gave me good non-verbal cues.

This is where I’m assuming she kind of wanted me to ask for her number. She actually brought up a complaint that nobody confirms plans with her and many bail on her. This is what I said:

“If you’re free sometime this week, we should get lunch. So could I get your number?”

“Yeah sure!”

It felt so natural asking her for it that I wasn’t nervous at all. Normally, I’d be a bit shaky with my words but I felt calm this time. I’m seeing her tomorrow, any tips on escalating and flirting? I’m a noob at physically showing I’m into a girl.
