I went out last Saturday with some friends. It was a friend's birthday, so at first it was all guys but then we met up with a buddy's girlfriend and she brought two friends. One of them I hadn't met before.

The alcohol might have helped, but I was definitely 'in state'. I can't remember the things I said, but I said them with confidence and acted almost like I was in control of the party. We went to a club and I was the first one on the dance floor.

The girl who I hadn't met took a liking to me without me even trying to pick her up. I think one major plus was when I did this:

She was telling me about something, I can't remember what (I wasn't interested) and I noticed her necklace had a weird pendant on it.

I interrupted her story and said "hey, can I ask you something?"

"Yes"

I got close to her and picked up the pendant in my hand. "Is your necklace...religious?"

"Oh no! I got it in Vietnam. I'm agnostic."

She seemed to dig that. We danced for a little while; she was grabbing my hands and moving them around her body so I thought that I was in.

Lo and Behold, her friend had a crisis then (something about her bf and her wanting to cheat, i don't really know), but my girl had to leave and take care of her friend's problem. I left with my group and never got her number, but she did friend me on facebook.

So basically my only way to contact her is facebook. I want to contact her and set up a day 2, but I don't know what to say in the message that doesn't sound needy. Last Saturday, she wanted me and I made it seem like I wasn't "pursuing" her, but if I message her and say "We should go out sometime. What are you doing this weekend?" It makes it seem like I am chasing her.

Should I write something like "You wanna take me out on Saturday?". That might sound a little better.

How should I word this message?
