My favorite rejection ever went like this. I was at a bus stop and this hot girl was waiting for the bus. I walked past her to kind of let her know that I exist and "check" the bus stop sign to make sure it was the right bus. Then I walked back to her and asked if she knew when the next bus comes by. We start chatting and joking and she's not only hot, but has a great personality. Bus shows up and its kind of crowded, so we can't sit near each other. She's a seat or two back and across the aisle.

I turned around and said, "Hey, it was really nice talking to you, would you like to exchange numbers?"

She kind of blushes and says, "I can't, I have a boyfriend." and I said, "Oh, that's fine! I could always use new friends."

She blushes hard and says, "I could not have a "friend" like you!"

Man, I still feel so good everytime I think about that rejection. I thought she was so hot and here she was thinking that she couldn't even trust herself around me in a friend capacity? Shit still feeding my ego like 9 years later. Lol

Hell yeah, look at you being forward! Honestly, the regret of never asking is horrific. There was a guy all throughout high school I was not only insanely attracted to, but loved being around. His energy was intoxicating, he was funny, just someone you'd gravitate towards. Still find him just as appealing as I did back then and will always regret not at least addressing those feelings directly with him and seeing what could've been. The worst they can say is no! :) Keep it up champ, you got this!

Back in high school I had a crush on this girl. I told her but she said she had a boyfriend too (this was like 20 years ago btw). I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulder rather than rejected. I think letting a girl know you like her is more important than getting the girl sometimes. You don't have to pour your heart out, but showing interest (not kissing her ass or worshiping her) at least lets her know early if she would like to take things in a certain direction.

Dont be her friend. But great job, now go out tomorrow and ask 20 girls out. This is how you build momentum ans develop a strong vibe. You'll eliminate nervousness and then maybe the girl wont lie this time and say she has a boyfriend .
