That Brando example is great! Notice something else about it... his level of honesty is uncompromising. He is completely honest in every answer, and he demands honesty from his interviewers. That's why there are so many pauses - he's considering his answers on the fly, which gives us a much greater sense of sincerity and trustworthiness.

Good information except in my experience and from what I've read, it's best not to tell them your name until they ask for it. I say this because for one, if you automatically tell them your name it seems like your want to either know their or you want them to get to know you. Every guy that introduces themselves usually starts with "Hi my name is.." also, by not telling them your name you are making it look like you don't care for theres and you are only there really quick for information. If they see you aren't trying to stick around then they are more inclined to talk with you if and you can start to DHV, neg, then phase shift and stick around. Thanks for the Marlon Brando interviews.

Maybe you've got a good point. I never noticed. Usually if it just feels right to reach out my hand and say my name is so and so during a conversation, I just do it weather it be the first thing out of my mouth or one of the lasts before I ask for her number. But I usually introduce myself with a handshake to induce touch because even a handshake if you shake a womens hand the right way while looking into her eyes can be seductive. Thanks

I agree with you, however I have something to add. I do say my name but only after they ask which is an IOI, or when I am getting their number. If we've been talking and I've gotten 3 IOI's I'll tell them my name because I know they are interested and that way I can start starting and ending sentences with there name because everyone loves hearing their own name, they will do it back to you. Also, While you are right about shaking their hand, I can skip that for the first few minutes because there are other forms of kino, I plant a joke that I know they will not get and then I can lightly scrape them on the arm while making eye contact and smiling to poke fun at them. Thank you too.

What you've posted is very similar Adam Lyons teachings. Among the get in good with the bar staff, have an accompaniment female, and little bit of the general conversations with women.
Cool, never heard of him. I guess it just goes to show that there is a lot of common protocol.

Yup good summary. Also make sure you start working on your conversation skills also! That's vital. Good luck

Nice, I live in DC, downtown. Out of curiosity, what bars/neighborhoods have you had most success?
I've been doing pretty well here in DC myself, but it seems to alternate between the stuck up georgetown divas and the stuck up K-street lounge divas. I'll be moving to Columbia Heights soon, so what's next, pretentious hipsters?

You don't have to go to a bar... Go and do anything that you enjoy doing where other people will be there doing the same thing - a class, a booksigning, a sport, rocking out to a local band. Bars are only a good place for trying out new routines and lines because there is a high volume of people traffic. Unless you really really enjoy going to bars, you've got a low chance of meeting someone there who genuinely clicks with you. One way to enjoy bars is to go there only to group up with friends and loosen up right BEFORE going to do something else, like going to a concert, party, community event. That way, the bar isn't the destination, but a brief waypoint in a series of destinations. That could also include bar-hopping to get a better feel for the local flavor. Anyway, if you're going to be extracting a hottie from the bar, where are you going to extract her to? Might as well be another location that you were going to anyways, other than to take her straight back to your place. You've gotta bounce a few times first, they might as well be things that you really enjoy doing anyways.

I fly solo to bars all the time, with moderate success most of the time. My "strategy" if you'd like to call it as such is to simply work the place, male and female alike. I often find a wingman (or, better yet, a guy who already knows a girl/girls there) that very night, all the while raising my perceived "value" by being the cool, friendly guy that's just there to have fun (which I really am). Nothing says "creep" more clearly than talking exclusively to chicks unless you have way more game than I do. Moral of the story: go there to have fun and you probably will.

I've had plenty of success flying solo, here are my tips:
Find a good bar where the kind of girls you like hang out. Go there a lot and make sure you're "known" there.
In any given bar, talk to guys and girls, you want to give the impression that you have a "tribe" there at the bar.
Learn some cool bar hustles and use them in a playful way.
Make sure you're dressed in a way that fits with the bar theme, but also helps you stand out and makes you look good.
Make sure you study and read from the master puas so you understand the theory and practice of picking up.

Weird thing is that's exactly what we followed in sales. Bring value, don't be needy or creepy, open and never stall.
