Women are more picky about who they mate with, naturally, cause they could be stuck with an unwanted baby if things go wrong. So, they need a guy who's 'sexy' i.e. who shows that he can protect himself, her and their offspring. A 'weak' guy, who can't stand up for himself and who panders to her, is not what she wants, if a guy can't stand up to her, how is he going to stand up to a grizzly bear attacking the family? These guys, who may be 'nice' aren't relationship material, cause they're not sexy, but they're nice, even to the extent of being perfectly matched personality-wise, so they're kept around as friends, cause he's proven to himself that he's not relationship material, i.e. not sexy, i.e. not strong.

This is not how men see things, this is not what you've been brought to believe as true, but it is the truth. If you don't believe it, go out and be a strong, confident guy, see how many girls want you. Then go out and act weak and pandering and then see the results. At least now you know, now you can work on yourself and become that great guy. Thank your lucky stars you've been given this chance, many will never get it or they won't let themselves accept it. Now go out there and be the best damn you possible.

Who are you talking to?

Women who "just want to be friends" are letting you know they're not interested in pursuing a sexual or romantic relationship. I don't know any women who complain about or are offended by men being attracted to them, EXCEPT when it crosses the line into stalking and/or sexual harassment.

I'm attracted to some of my male friends. I know some of them are attracted to me. Who cares; we both have more than sex to offer.
