I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you ask our thoughts on the IOI. You mean his IOI's he's giving you? It would seem that he has an idea of what he's doing, and it's clearly working. All I can see for you to do at this point is to just wait and see if he messages. Since nothing's set in stone, just do what you would usually do. By that, I mean to go out, see people, etc. Don't put your eggs all in one basket. (cliché, yes, but it holds for a reason)
