I want to develop it more. And I'm trying to get better at it. Is it along the same lines as cocky funny? Any tips and insights on developing some good push/pull? I think this is definitely something I lack.
Last night I was hanging out with some of my lady friends and made it my 'social workout' for the night to be cocky/funny and practice push/pull. I found myself in the moment most of the time, but at the same time caught myself not saying somethings because of a weak frame/state of mine. The inner afc was running rampant.
One instance was when I went up to grab some water with her and the bartender filled it all the way up to the top forming the meniscus.
She mentioned: "Oh wow, look at that meniscus at the top!" Me: "Wow, I haven't heard that since grade 9 science! You're such a nerd!" smile (the push?). She laughs.
I was going to say "I love it" (the pull?) right after, but for some reason I didn't.
Another instance was when she said: "wow, I'm so drunk right now, I have no idea what's going on!" (I'm sure she was just slightly buzzed and she only had one drink though). Immediately, I wanted to say jokingly: "Does that mean it's a good time to take advantage of you right now?" - but decided against that for some reason.
Another one with another girl.
Her: I really don't like (something). Me: Whatt? Really? We can't be friends anymore. (taking this from Style:) That's it, we're breaking up. You can keep the dog.
She laughs.
... and some other stuff which I forgot. They seemed to soak up the vibe, laughing, doing playful punchs/shoves, and generally having a good time. I think I was doing something right.
