I see a decent amount of posts that start with "I'm just an AFC" or "I'm an AFC starting out". To me, it seems that would be counterproductive to refer to yourself as that. Think about the words: Average, Frustrated, Chump. Is there anything about those words that you would want repeated rattling in your mind? If you are what you consistently do, isn't your mindset what you consistently think? Then why are you letting such bad vibes even sit in your mind?

I don't know why this nomenclature even popped up to begin with, like everyone has to start off at such a low place that you have to completely tear yourself down to build yourself up just to get a girl. I don't know, maybe I'm an overly optimistic Californian who's into sniffing his own farts, but I would think even the biggest Sperglord would have some sort of skill to bring to the table to start.

It's like as a musician, a lot of guys start off playing guitar or start off playing some instrument with absolutely no knowledge of how to play, other than what they think music should sound like from listening to it. But if someone asks me for help and refers to themselves as a chump or keeps saying they suck, it would be frustrating to help even if they aren't that bad if they hold such a self-limiting belief. Or better yet, people who insist they're ugly even though they're really not bad looking. Maybe you could use a makeover or work out a bit more, but insisting on that belief is much more limiting than your actual physical looks.
