After meeting this girl through mutual friends years ago she recently moved and began going to college in my state. The last time I saw her, just over about 5 months ago, and it was one of those "Wow, she's more attractive and awesome then I ever gave her credit for." moments. So we talked a bit in the limited amount of time we had and I eventually got her number.

In September we started talking a bit, mostly about music, and somehow we we got to the point where she said that I should visit the city that she's currently living in. Of course, I said yes and even asked if I could buy her coffee once I finally visited.

I feel like that's where I made my first mistake. The only way that we have communicated thus far is the impersonal blackhole that is facebook, besides when I asked her if I could buy her coffee when I finally go the chance to visit. I made the mistake of neglecting text messages because I thought it would be creepy. I see the error in my ways.

My main question is, how can I transfer our main form of communication from facebook to texting or maybe even phone calls, and how can I plant the seeds of a possible relationship into her mind from afar before I get the chance to visit? How can I express interest without getting the chance to interact at all in person?
