What are your tips on getting amped for the clubs?

If you hate the clubs, maybe don't go there? I hate clubs, but I also hate one-manning it. There are a couple bars where I know the bartenders or band members, so if I must go out by myself I go there and hang at the bar and meet people as they order drinks. But mostly to get amped up to meet people, I go out with a good friend and we just have a good time. The whole concept of "solo sarging" isn't really congruent with who I am.

Wow man. Mad props. Ridin solo into clubs takes some monster cojones. It is tough, but I if you can do it a several times successfully it comes much easier. It is definitely not a rookie move, but you definitely have to be able to open and talk. A few tips:

One of the most important things that you can do early is find a "safety group". This usually consists of a few avg looking girls and guys and maybe a fattie. I usually will buy them a round be friendly, but I do not flirt with them. Hang with then when you aren't talking to girls you are interested in.
When people ask who I am with I always say I am meeting a client.
I drink when I go out usually 4 or 5 vodka red bulls over the course of the evening.
Don't go to places you hate.
Don't stand around by yourself, if there is nothing you can do at least pretend to text people or something, but remember people will notice you a lot less then you think they do unless you are tearing the club up then everyone will notice you.

Solo is so many times harder then going with at least one other person in my mind. The chances of you, even if its for 5 min, looking needy or creepy are so high. woops i'm leaning against the bar looking for people i know, woops im starring, woops i'm doing nothing but sitting looking at people.

Hey man if you hate clubs try something more suited for you. There are many places you can go. But if u like clubs and are having trouble getting that initial rush to get in state try meditation, i cant remember where i read this but it worked for me. When you are by yourself in your room, close your eyes and imagine someone badass/cool/confident in a white room, for me is james bond or george clooney in oceans 11 (no homo here, just picture someone who has a great state/presence) . Think about them, how they are feeling, their mentality, how they dress/walk/talk, the aura of confidence they are exhuming ,they are badasses, they dont give a shit about anything. Focus rrly hard on this, the more detailed u can go, the better.Suddenly, picture two doors appeaer. Just about when the charachter is about to walk trough the two doors, these swing open, it's a club packed with ppl, every 1 is staring at him, every1 wants to talk/get to know/be him ,he is the life of the party( then have a key word, make it something you can remember, like BOOOM, rock n rool, cheese steak sandwich (whatever rocks ur boat)) after you say this, BOOOM its no longer james bond in the room , ITS YOU, every1 wants to talk to you, you are happy, feel great and u are rdy to have fun. Do this for a couple days until your brain gets use to it. Next time you walk in to a club just take a deep breath and say the keyword to yourself, and all those feelings and emotions are just going to take over you making you feel great. This sounds kinda lame but it does actually help give it a try, what do u have to loose.
