Friend zone achievement unlocked. Have you gotten any indication that she's interested? Have you done anything to indicate your interest in order suss out her interest? Girls, in general, don't pursue guys just because they exist and are maybe cute. So, if you've been hanging out without your behavior triggering any signals of attraction, you are almost certainly comfortably ensconced in the friend zone.

Learn from it, and do better next time. You might not be deeply in the friend zone already, if you're really cute and she's not actually an 8.5 (a 7, perhaps, would be more likely to be shy and inexperienced and might not be as jaded; an 8.5 is probably going to require pretty solid game unless you're really good looking).

If you are in the friend zone, and want to get out of it with this particular girl (which is harder than landing a new girl and takes longer; starting from scratch is better than starting from being down in the pit that is the friend zone), you'll need to begin escalating and building sexual tension between you. Be more touchy with her, be more sexually risqué in your conversations, make more eye contact, act as though you've just begun to discover that she's awesome...but keep pushing her away with push/pull techniques.

Equally important, because you're probably in the friend zone, you need to take evasive action to make her realize you are sought after by women and not just another guy, of many, that wants to be nice to her. Flirt with other girls in her presence. If going to events where she's going to be, show up with a cute girl on you arm...then proceed to flirt with your target and the girl you arrived with.

Don't do this again. If you like a girl, start flirting with her immediately. Waiting for the perfect moment never helps.
