A little bit of backstory: I'm 22 and recently hooked up with a girl, two weeks ago at a friend's party after smoking some weed. This is a girl I've offhandedly interacted with previously at other parties as she is a friend, and classmate of the host's. This is where the weed portion of the story comes in. Before scheduling a date she mentions it'll be nice to finally have a conversation when I am not high. Unfortunately this sticks in my mind and all I can do during the date is show her I can successfully carry a sober conversation, while stupidly overlooking various opportunities for kino and other advances. After the date (a basketball game), she swears she had a great time, yet I can't help to feel I'm about to be labeled a friend. We've made plans for another meeting, but I think I'll need to come in strong.
In a nutshell, I need your help to determine whether to make light of the previous situation, and explain how her comments weighed heavily on my mind not allowing me to express my attraction. At the same time I need to know whether it's a bad idea to even mention my attraction for her.
I'm at a loss, seddit. Halp!
