This happens occasionally. I meet a girl, make an awesome first-impression, number close and everything. I start with the witty texts, get awesome responses, eventually move on to a date to meet. Sometimes we do meet, and sometimes it ends in f-closes, but sometimes I encounter flakes.

I know popular opinion would say "move on, don't appear desperate", but I don't believe that it's hopeless. After all, if I invest a lot of time in text conversations warming her up, I would like some type of payoff even if it involves me making another attempt at meeting.

For example, there's one girl that I've seen a few times. She's definitely attracted to me because she's the one who opened me, and we have hooked up before (but haven't had sex, yet). She did express to me that she "used to have sex a lot, but is past that phase", but after I told her that I was only looking for sex, she agreed to have it the next time we met.

Fast forward to the next meet-up, where she flakes by saying she's sick and has some work to do. Then to a second flake where she already has a friend coming over. I try to play it cool by saying "[name of friend] is boring; I'm more fun ;)", but she responded with some bullshit like "you do not understand the brilliance that is [friend's name]". Kind of annoyed me, but I'm taking this as a shit test and responding with something else.

It seems like whenever I try to be direct and tell them that I am only interested in sex, their ASD goes up and they flake. How can I stay direct but still see them?
