I remember reading an article about touch that studied sports teams - teams with players and staff that touched each other more often normally performed better. (not sure which comes first there though).
I often forget, but when I remember I always, always, always try to hug girls hello and goodbye.

Circle jerks in the locker room, FTW!!
On a serious note though, that's actually pretty interesting and I'll totally buy that. They probably have a better bond and a better "team mentality". Hivemind, if you will.

I remember this article as well. It mentioned basketball players, when shooting free throws, in between shots the player shooting gets high fives from his teammates. The teams that did this the most often performed better.

Hugging girls hello and goodbye was standard for me growing up on the West Coast. On the East Coast it seems to be received a little differently, as the other guys (at least at my recent college) never felt comfortable with kino. Their loss.

I typically introduce myself using handshakes with girls and guys alike. I need to switch to hugging as a female introducer.
Ladies tend not to skip out on hugs as long as you don't smell.

Handshakes are fine. Give a girl you find attractive an extra "half second" longer handshake than everybody else. Hugging as an intro is bold, but could be awkward at first, unless you own the room already like a boss. However, once in conversation, don't be afraid to play around and get close and give a friendly/playful hug for any reason.
I've also gotten into the habit of hugging girls after meeting them and I'm leaving. I say "bye it was nice meeting you" and pretend to go for the handshake. As a last moment reconsideration, I say "Nah, strangers shake hands" and just go in for the hug. I've gotten only positive responses to that. I've become friends with some cool chicks that frequent the same bars that I do, and they're great as pivots.

Nice line. I typically do the half second longer handshake as well.

The last two dates I went on that ended in first time sex, I kept CONSTANTLY touching her, and kinoing. Playing with her, pushing her around, pulling, holding her, stroking her arm. Expressing dominance, confidence, comfort while keeping it natural and fluid.
After the sex, one of the said that she'd never felt this comfortable or non self conscious. In fact the only reason she even had sex this early was because: she was turned on by how confident my touch seemed and how comfortable it made her.
Before these two dates, I SUCKED at kino, and it would take me a lot longer to get her into my bed.

Mmmmm oxytocin. Seriously, my favorite neurotransmitter by far. It's basically kino in chemical form. There is a good debate going on as to whether it should be called the "love neurotransmitter", but a lot of people think that would be simplifying love too much. There is no doubt though that the positive reinforcement gained from oxytocin is very important in forming relationships.
