i'm not sure if this goes here or over in another subreddit. sorry ahead of time if it doesn't.

so i got to make out with this girl again at another party this past weekend. and while we were flirting around, she kept asking me where i was gonna take her for v-day. and each time i'd jokingly say "if youre lucky, ill consider taking you to somewhere nice like mcd's"

fast foward to this earlier this week, i asked her again if she was still down to go out on monday and she said yes. but past 2 days, shes been saying stuff like "my roommate wants to come out with us" and "sorry, we got a better offer to a nicer place from another guy."

every time, it sounds like shes just joking around but in the back of my head i feel like shes hinting that she doesnt want to go out anymore and is doing this to let me down easy.

am i over thinking this? is she shit testing me? what do i do? how do i respond? do i keep making plans as if were still goin out?

help a confused brother out!
