Seddit, I noticed that there wasn't much on grooming advice anywhere on this site. Taking care of yourself is a key to baseline seduction and is something I’ve spent some time on. I’d like to share with you some of the advanced grooming techniques/lessons I’ve been able to acquire over the years.
I initially wrote a ton of stuff and found that it wasn't fitting on the page well, so I broke it up into 4 parts:
Hair
Hair is the most important thing that a woman will see. Clothes may make the man, but his hair defines him.
First, I recommend spending a much as possible on hair. I, for instance, go to Frederick Fekkai in SoHo and spend around $150. Your jaw might drop, but realize that I only go every 2 months.
Why does one get their haircut there? First, a God-Tier stylist is going to look at your face and head, and then determine what hair cut should best for you according to your features.
If you have never done this before, grow your hair out for two months (yes, it’s painful) and book a time with a nice salon. After they give you head massage and complimentary beer, the stylist will ask you ‘what are you thinking we do with your hair’. Tell her ‘I want something simple, that goes with my jawline, easy to maintain, and versatile. And oh yeah, make me sexy.’ You have essentially given the stylist a blank canvas in which to play. Sit back and enjoy the models that are getting their haircut there too.
Short Hair – However, another way to go is having your hair short. Very short and trimmed at all times. Get a good barber, don’t spend too much. Concentrate on getting the best hair product. (see below)
Bald/Balding – I also don’t have personal experience with this, but I’m told if you are balding, embrace that shit and buzz your hair.
Tip 1 - If you are skinny (like me), try growing your hair out. It adds to your frame and gives the appearance that you are larger.
Tip 2 – I keep a small container of product in my work bag. A quick touch up never hurts. The compliment of ‘your hair always looks awesome’ will never get old.
Hair Product
Unless you are trying to get girls from the jersey shore (places like Belmar), girls are going to want to be able to run their hands through your hair….and not be left with residue.
I recommend trying as many different products as possible. I used American Crew products religiously, but have recently switched to Jonathan Dirt product. After drying off, I apply a little before using the hair dryer. And a little after. If you have a good haircut, hair product should only show what your stylist intended to happen. Don’t overuse. Women hate that shit.
Net Message: If you can splurge, go for an expensive hair cut. Women can tell.
EDIT 1 Another tip, whichever barber shop or salon you go to. Ask the person cutting your hair to also cut your eyebrow hairs. This is a free service and women remember details.
