i am a native-english speaker that lives in a foreign country. i'm slowly learning the language, but not enough to communicate pass the niceties and such. there are many times that i find a local lady attractive, and i think she finds me attractive (we share eye contact and smiles). i go up and speak with her, but in most cases she doesn't speak any english or very little english. other than learning the language (or getting lucky and finding a girl that knows english well), what can i do? i've always been confident in my approach with women, but i don't know what to do if i can't make small talk or make her laugh with my wit.

please help...would love to hear some advice.
