I jotted this list down after listening to a Day 2 specific episode of Pickup Podcast:

Try cooking a meal together while having some afternoon drinks and listening to some tunes. Usually a good time.

I like stuff that keeps competition low and provides activities to focus on so you don't have a lot of empty space in the conversation.

Rock climbing (great if you like fit girls)
Go carts
Putt-putt

Hold off on the movies and dinner until you've been going out a while, and if you haven't had sex yet then don't take her out to the bars/clubs just yet where AMOGs can make you look bad if you're not ready for it or could end up stealing her out from under you. The ideal day 2s are things that in a way screen out the type of women you aren't looking for. If you want a fit chick that's active and outdoorsy, then do stuff that a fit chick who's active and outdoorsy would be into. Rock climbing, hiking tours, and stuff like that are good ideas. If your girl is a big rocker type chick then take her to a hold in the wall with live music where you know everyone and know you don't have to worry about being upstaged by interlopers.

My rule of thumb is simple: the best dates are free dates. Parks, forests, window shopping, lakes, beaches, window shopping, watching old buildings, picknics etc.

Also, if you happen to be going on a boring date, make her excited about one of these and immediately get up and go there if it's accessible and she's into it. It's very spontaneous and fun :-)

A girl once told me that her ideal first date is meeting at a park( because she likes nature ), being drived around to a cafè or something similar and drink tea ( she's brittish ), then walk a bit.

Your ideal date might not be hers, but that's an idea to start.
